Ergonomic
worksite evaluations and audits are used to provide an overview
of any ergonomic issues, while specific job and task analyses provide
detailed information. Areas addressed in the analyses include workload,
task demands, workstation design and tool and equipment interface
design. The overall demands of the job are viewed in system context
with performance measures and efficiency concerns.
The risks of injuries, such as lower back disorders
and cumulative trauma disorders, are determined as part of an overall
worksite assessment.
